Boho Chic Villa Es Cubells / Ibiza
The villa was built by the French architect Nicolas Besset, who among others in Ibiza. has designed the in-restaurants El Ayoun and Elefante Bar and forms a unit with the adjoining monastery. The architecture is so special that the property has already been featured in several publications (see left). You can find absolute tranquility here and still be fast in the nightlife of Ibiza Town. The house is ideal for six people. There is, however, the possibility of overnight accommodation for two or three children.
The 450m² villa with sea views is located in Es Cubells, in the south of the island and you can see as far as Formentera. The house has 10,000 m² of land with citrus trees, pines and cacti & an 18 m pool. The beaches of Cala Jondal and Es Torrent are just around the corner, the village is within walking distance and Ibiza town is 20 minutes away. In the left tower are the three bedrooms, each with its own terrace. On the right is the 7m high living room with fireplace and gallery and on the first floor under an original Berber tent is a Moroccan teasalon
The boho chic trend of Villa Es Cubells is modern, but not cool and lives from contrasts. The interior is the result of many trips to Morocco and Asia. The doors in the whole house are old and come from the mainland or from Bali and Thailand. The dining table (a cut tree trunk) is from Burma, duvets and pillows were made in Marrakech. In contrast: chairs by Phillippe Starck, a modern lighting concept by Maurer and a floor made of gray cemento liso. Or on the terrace: beige natural stones and small Asian benches combined with ultra-modern loungers from Gandia Blasco. This mixture of purism (MEM series from Dornbracht), Moroccan (luminous tatlack technique) and Spanish influence (wooden troughs made into sinks) can also be found in the bathrooms. The house is equipped with alarm system, security service, internet, heating and air conditioning and not only an oasis to relax in midsummer, but also - with the crackling fireplace in the living room and bedroom - in the off-season
